Rules and Regulations

  • The school year begins on September 1st and ends on June 28th.
  • In June, the attendance is mandatory because the syllabus is not completed by the end of May. If the student needs to be absent for more than one session because of school exams, these courses will be completed upon coordination with his/her teacher to be arranged at the beginning of the month.
  • The tuition fees of each academic year are divided in 10 monthly instalments. The student has to pay the monthly fees during the FIRST WEEK of each month.
  • When a student is absent without previous notice, the lesson will NOT BE REARRANGED.
  • If a student knows that he/she will be absent due to a serious reason they are kindly requested to provide sufficient notice in advance, as to allow time to exchangea lesson with another student.
  • If the teacher feels that the student is not well prepared to take the exam during the exam periods, then the student will be requested to continue his/her preparation, to be able to attend the next exam period.

From the first day of its operation, Larnaca Academy of Music has a main objective to make every student feel that they are an important and active member of its musical family. At our music school, we embrace every student with affection, love and we provide them with the opportunity to develop friendships with other students and to feel comfortable as if they were at home.   • We offer a study area for students who, for any reason, do not own a piano, for as long and as often as it is necessary, upon
  • We encourage cooperation and group study between our students. In this way, students exchange knowledge, gain strength, courage, persistence and patience to discover the magic of Music. Using the opportunity for group study, will grand them the necessary confidence to demonstrate their true abilities. The journey in music needs a lot of MORAL SUPPORT.
  • We open the door of our teaching room to parents, when they are available and willing, to watch the lesson. In this way, we give them the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the teaching method and therefore encourage their children towards correct and regular
  • We offer a comfortable waiting room, to accommodate the everyday schedule of students who are travelling from far away. In this way, students earn studying time (either for their school work or for their music instrument) and have the opportunity to rest .
